H-1B Master's Cap Hits 19,100

The United States Citizenship and Immigration Service (USCIS) updated its H-1B cap count on December 10, 2010.   Here are the most recent cap numbers: Regular H-1B Cap:  52,400 U.S. Masters H-1B Cap: 19,100 The regular H-1B cap is set at 65,000 and the Advanced Degree cap is set at 20,000. USCIS Extends TPS for Somalia

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) announced  that the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) will extend Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for eligible nationals of Somalia from the current expiration of March 17, 2011 through the new expiration date of Sept. 17, 2012. USCIS Issues Revised Employment Authorization Document

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) announced that it has revised the Employment Authorization Document (EAD), or Form I-766, to incorporate the addition of a machine-readable zone on the back of the card.
