Be Alert for a New Immigration Phone Scam

In this scam, a person purporting to be a USCIS officer calls the alien, asks for verification of his or her name and address, and says that there is a discrepancy with the alien’s “A” number. The scammer then tells the individual to send a sum to Western Union to clear up the discrepancy.
