The United States CitizenshipThe country in which a person is born (and has not renounced or lost citizenship) or naturalized and to which that person owes allegiance and by which he or she is entitled to be protected. and Immigration Service updated its H-1B cap count on April 22, 2010. Here are the numbers:
Regular H-1B Cap: 16,025
U.S. Masters H-1B Cap: 6,739
These numbers tell us that employers are filing fewer H-1B applications than in the past few years. The good news is that employers who want to hire foreign professional workers under the H-1B program still can.
