The United States CitizenshipThe country in which a person is born (and has not renounced or lost citizenship) or naturalized and to which that person owes allegiance and by which he or she is entitled to be protected. and Immigration Service updated its H-1B cap count yesterday. Here are the numbers:
Regular H-1B Cap: 13,500
U.S. Masters H-1B Cap: 5,600
These filings were as of April 8, 2010.
These numbers are low compared to the past few years. We are sure it is a result of our economy and changes in the H-1B program.
We will provide additional updates on www.bashyamspiro.com.
