H-1B Cap Running Out; 55,600 Filings as of Nov 13

As of November 13, 2009, approximately 55,600 H-1B cap-subject petitions had been filed.  The federally mandated cap for Fiscal Year 2010 is 65,000.  When taking into account that 6,800 H-1B numbers are reserved for nationals of Chile and Singapore, that means only 2600 H-1Bs are left.  We could easily see the H-1B cap run out in December or early January.
