Law Firm Members Commit to Charitable WorkPosted by Murali Bashyam on Feb 7, 2009 in News, Other | 0 comments
We at Bashyam Spiro place great importance on charitable work and helping others. Murali Bashyam recently joined the Board of Directors of the Tammy Lynn Foundation. The Foundation operates the Tammy Lynn Center for Developmental Disabilities, which offers educational, residential and family support services to nearly 400 children and adults with special needs. If any of our readers would like to learn more about or contribute to the Tammy Lynn Center, please feel free to contact Mr. Bashyam or visit www.tammylynncenter.org.
Mr. Bashyam and Ms. Pam Prather, the firm’s Client Relations Manager, have also formed a charity to help people in need around the world. Called Friends Unite, the organization’s 501(c)(3) charitable mission is to provide funding and support for the advancement of education, health services and other basic necessities, such as food, water and shelter, which are often compromised by poverty.
For a hint of things to come, please feel free to visit www.friendsunite.org. The web site is currently in development and will be up this year. We will seek your help and ideas as we move forward with this endeavor in 2009 and onwards.
Lastly, stay tuned to our web site in 2009. Not only will we have a new look, we will also be adding a Philanthropy link to our home page. This link will list all of the charity efforts undertaken my members of our firm, our friends, and our partners.
